An exemplary presentation of the systems Odoo as ERP-System, Alfresco as DMS and Share and Zimbra as mail and groupware client showed how every company can digitize its processes.
Data center and cyber security
The participants were also offered an informative evening program on hosting and cybersecurity.
Small groups were led through the IT IS AG's data center with 960 servers, where employees explained the functions of the servers, the security of the data center and other rooms for the technical administration of the IT service provider. A lecture on how organizational and technical measures are implemented at IT IS and can also be implemented in any other company was of course of particular interest to visitors.

Let's go on the CeBIT Welcome Night
After the arrival and the setup of our booth in hall 6, we went to the CeBIT Welcome Night. Important figures such as the CEOs of Hitachi and Bitkom, Federal Minister Wanka, the Prime Minister of this year's Partner Country Japan and the German Chancellor Dr. Ing. Angela Merkel talked about this year's CeBIT.
Expectations, hopes and future prospects in technology were central themes. The uncertainty of many people in digitization was also admonished. But the opportunities should be exploited and the spread of digitization is a major political goal.
Then business contacts could be maintained during a chat during the subsequent meal.
Live demos from Odoo, Alfresco and Zimbra
At the start of the trade fair on Monday, the IT IS AG employees started the trade fair week full of vigor. With some co-exhibitors, our booth is located on the joint booth of Bayern Innovativ on one of the main arteries in Hall 6 and is therefore one of the most visited booths.
Many interested people from the 200,000 visitors visited us to find out more about our exhibited products Odoo, Alfresco and Zimbra. We demonstrate these in live demos. Our employees took the time for everyone interested to answer their questions in a one-on-one interview and demonstrate them directly on the system.
Evening events
Some exhibitors organized parties at their booth after the actual fair.
So also on Monday the joint stands of North Rhine-Westphalia and Switzerland. With great live music, exhibitors and invited visitors could not only have fun on the dance floor, but also network and enjoy culinary delights.
In addition, we had the multiple German table football master Johannes Kirsch give us kicker tips. Unfortunately, the advice only helped to a limited extent in the subsequent match, in which our employees managed to score two goals.
Bavaria Day
On Wednesday, Bavaria-day was at the Bayern Innovativ stand.
During the day, an original Lower Bavarian wind music quartet lured the visitors' ears to the stand. In traditional costume, we continued our motto in the evenings at the Bavaria Party.
State Secretary Albert Füracker, the Executive Board of Deutsche Messe AG, Dr. Wolfram v. Fritsch and the managing director of Bayern Innovativ, Dr. Rainer Seßner spoke to the invited guests and opened the party. Over a beer and Bavarian pretzels, exhibitors and industrial greats from Bavaria and other countries talked.
